Tadej Pogačar Foundation Donates €59,800 to Rebuild Lives and Support Childhood Cancer Recovery

The Tadej Pogačar Foundation has once again demonstrated its commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. The foundation’s recent donations of €59,800 are directed towards two vital causes: aiding families affected by the catastrophic floods in August 2023 and providing essential rehabilitation equipment for children battling cancer.

Rebuilding Lives After the August 2023 Floods

In August 2023, severe flooding devastated communities across Slovenia, leaving many families with nothing but the wreckage of their homes. The Tadej Pogačar Foundation stepped in to provide immediate assistance, donating €50,800 to support 17 families who were hardest hit by the disaster. This contribution is helping these families rebuild their homes, restore their lives, and regain a sense of stability and hope after the tragedy.

“We are here to support those who need it the most,” said Tadej Pogačar, World Cycling Champion and founder of the foundation. “The floods caused immense damage, and we want to help these families rebuild their homes, so they can focus on healing and moving forward.”

Supporting Childhood Cancer Patients

The foundation has also extended its reach to the children of Slovenia, providing €9,000 to the Heroes of the 3rd Floor Association, an organization dedicated to helping young patients fighting cancer. The donation will be used to purchase rehabilitation equipment for the Pediatric Clinic at UKC Ljubljana. This equipment will enhance the recovery journey of children undergoing treatment, helping them regain strength and mobility after intense therapies.

“The journey for these children is incredibly challenging, and we want to ensure they have the best possible support for their physical recovery,” Pogačar shared. “Every child deserves a chance to heal and feel strong again, and we’re proud to contribute to that process.”
