ESPN REPORTS: Former Missouri Wide Receiver Courtney Crutchfield Transfers to Arkansas
Pine Bluff native Courtney Crutchfield is returning home. After a whirlwind recruitment process out of high school, Crutchfield, a former four-star recruit, has officially transferred from Missouri to Arkansas. The news came Wednesday as Crutchfield signed with the Razorbacks, offering a significant boost to Arkansas’ wide receiver room for the future.
Crutchfield spent his freshman season in Columbia during 2024, making limited impact with just two appearances and no recorded receptions. However, his potential was clear coming out of high school, where he was ranked as the No. 100 overall recruit in the 247Sports Composite rankings and the 18th-best wide receiver in the nation. His transfer gives the Razorbacks an infusion of talent at a position that has been in need of playmaking ability.
For Arkansas, landing Crutchfield offers a chance to bring in a promising young receiver who can contribute immediately in the SEC. His decision to return home could also signal a new chapter for the Razorbacks as they look to strengthen their pass game heading into the next season.
