Raiders HC Pete Carroll Talks Future Plans, Potential Reunion with Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch’s Role on @wtfootballpodcast
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll appeared on the @wtfootballpodcast this week, offering insights into his plans for the team as he embarks on a new chapter in Las Vegas. When asked about the idea of bringing Wilson, his former quarterback in Seattle, to Las Vegas, Carroll responded with cautious optimism. “Russell is a proven winner, and we’ve shared a lot of success together. I’m not saying anything is set in stone, but if the opportunity arises, we’d be foolish not to consider it. The former NFL running back, who played under Carroll in Seattle, has expressed interest in contributing to the Raiders in a front-office or advisory capacity. “Marshawn is a special person. He knows the game inside and out, and I’m open to whatever role he’d want to play with this team. If he’s interested, we’ll definitely have a conversation about how he can contribute to this organization.”
Carroll’s comments have left Raiders fans buzzing with excitement, as the potential for both Wilson and Lynch to play key roles in the team’s future would mark a dramatic shift in the team’s culture.
