Champ Kelly, the Las Vegas Raiders’ Assistant General Manager, has recently interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ vacant General Manager position. The Jaguars announced on February 15, 2025, that they had completed a virtual interview with Kelly, concluding their initial round of interviews.
Kelly, who has been with the Raiders since 2022, has played a pivotal role in the team’s scouting and talent evaluation processes. His tenure includes a brief period as interim General Manager between the departures of Dave Ziegler and the hiring of Tom Telesco.
Despite his strong track record, Kelly was not selected as a finalist for the Jaguars’ General Manager position. The team has since moved forward with other candidates, including Ian Cunningham, James Gladstone, Jon-Eric Sullivan, Ethan Waugh, and Josh Williams.
