Las Vegas, NV – The Las Vegas Raiders have officially reached an agreement with Texas Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond on a blockbuster contract, securing the talented playmaker ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.
Bond, a projected second-round pick, has been on the radar of multiple teams due to his elite speed, route-running skills, and ability to stretch the field. With the Raiders looking to bolster their offensive arsenal, Bond’s addition gives Las Vegas a dynamic threat alongside Jakobi Meyers in the receiving corps.
Raiders’ Offseason Focus: Playmakers and Quarterback Search
The Raiders, who have significant needs on both sides of the ball, are prioritizing offensive weapons this offseason. While quarterback remains a key area of focus, adding a receiver of Bond’s caliber will provide a much-needed spark to their aerial attack.
During the 2024 college football season with Texas, Bond recorded 34 receptions for 540 yards and five touchdowns, showcasing his ability to make big plays. His prior season with Alabama saw him tally 48 catches for 668 yards and four scores, further proving his consistency as a weapon in the passing game.
Though Bond never posted record-breaking numbers, his explosive playmaking ability has made him a coveted prospect in this year’s draft class. His potential to develop into a top-tier receiver makes this move a major win for the Raiders as they look to retool their offense heading into the 2025 season.
With Bond now officially locked in, Las Vegas fans can look forward to seeing their newest offensive weapon take the field in silver and black.
