BREAKING NEWS: Raiders Sign EDGE Maxx Crosby to 3-Year, $106.5M Extension, Guaranteed — Making Him One of the Highest-Paid Defenders in the NFL

The Las Vegas Raiders have locked down their defensive cornerstone, signing star EDGE rusher Maxx Crosby to a massive 3-year, $106.5 million contract extension with a staggering $91.5 million guaranteed, per reports from Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

The deal makes Crosby one of the highest-paid defensive players in NFL history, solidifying his future with the franchise as they enter a new era under head coach Pete Carroll.

Crosby, 27, has been the heart and soul of the Raiders’ defense since being drafted in 2019 — earning back-to-back Pro Bowl selections and ranking among the league leaders in sacks over the past three seasons.

“This is home. I’m grateful to the Raiders for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to continue building something special here,” Crosby said in a statement.

Pete Carroll praised Crosby’s leadership, calling him a “game-changing player and the foundation of our defense” during Tuesday’s press conference.

With Crosby locked in, the Raiders are sending a clear message that they’re committed to building a championship-caliber defense.
