LSU’s Kim Mulkey Gets Massive Roster News After NCAA Tournament Loss
Kim Mulkey has built the LSU women’s basketball program into a national powerhouse over the past several years.
With the help of college basketball stars such Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson and Hailey Van Lith, LSU has set the standard in the SEC.
Heading into the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers were ranked at No. 3. They began March Madness with a victory over Arkansas State and followed that with wins over Florida State and NC State.
After the Tigers suffered a loss to the UCLA Bruins in the Elite Eight, Mulkey was dealt the responsibility to help revamp LSU’s roster.
LSU did just that. While Mulkey didn’t necessarily add to the roster, she received news that Jersey Wolfenbarger would be returning for her senior season with the LSU Tigers, per Matthew Brune.
Wolfenbarger is fresh off her lone season with the LSU Tigers. Before playing with the Tigers, Wolfenbarger spent two seasons with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
During the 2024-25 season at LSU, Wolfenbarger recorded 4.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 0.2 assists per game.
During her three-year college career, Wolfenbarger has averaged 5.2 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game.
According to ESPN, Wolfenbarger was occasionally a starter for Arkansas; she started nine of 37 games for the Gamecocks before you leave here.
