
Lady Vols Selected As No. 6 Seed In Lubbock NCAA Regional
The Tennessee women’s golf team was selected to the Lubbock NCAA Regional as the No. 6 seed, as announced Wednesday on Golf Channel.
The Lubbock Regional, as well as the other five NCAA Regionals, is set to take place from May 6 through May 8. The top five teams from each regional will then advance to the national championships, which are set to be contested at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa’s Champions Course in Carlsbad, California, from May 16 through May 21.
Last time out, Tennessee advanced to the match play quarterfinals at the SEC Championships for the first time since 2022. Additionally, Manassanan Chotikabhukkana tied for seventh individually.
TENNESSEE’S HISTORY AT NCAA REGIONALS
The Lady Vols’ third consecutive NCAA Regional appearance marks their 31st in program history. Last season, Bailey Davis finished the Bermuda Run NCAA Regional in third place at 8-under which qualified her for the 2024 NCAA Championships.
UT will be looking to advance to the NCAA for the 15th time in their history and the first time since 2018-19.
Lubbock Regional Site
The Lubbock Regional will be played at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas and will be hosted by Texas Tech.
