Dragons v Broncos: Reh gun ready to fire; Clark’s rapid return
A last-gasp try to Kasey Reh saw the Dragons remain undefeated in this year’s NRLW competition and they will be confident they can get the job done this week against the Broncos.
Reh scored in the 69th minute to down newcomers the Bulldogs to hand them their first loss, while lock Hannah Southwell impressed with her contributions in defence as well as attack, scoring a special individual try.
However, it is set to be a challenge against Brisbane who fought back from a poor start to their Round 3 game where they trailed 18-0 against the defending premiers, before running in the same number of tries in their 30-26 loss to the Roosters.
Coach Scott Prince will have his team on notice to improve their start to the game, with co-captain Tamika Upton, who led the fightback with her side’s opening two tries, saying the team would be working hard to improve this round.
