Collingwood and Kangan Institute have renewed a fresh two-year partnership, with the leading education and training provider remaining in the Pies corner to support the Club’s AFL and AFLW teams.
Collingwood and Kangan Institute have renewed a fresh two-year partnership, with the leading education and training provider remaining in the Pies corner to support the Club’s AFL and AFLW teams.
The new deal will see Kangan Institute serve as the Official Partner for the AFL Men’s team and Official Premier Partner of the AFL Women’s team.
Kangan Institute is one of Australia’s leading providers in vocational education and training, empowering learners with real-world skills and pathways.
Supporting more than 37,000 enrolments annually, Kangan Institute has campuses across Victoria including Broadmeadows, Docklands, Cremorne, Essendon and Sunbury.
As part of the partnership, Kangan Institute will offer education sessions with Collingwood Indigenous leaders, coaches and players.
Collingwood Football Club’s CEO Craig Kelly said he was thrilled by the further commitment to both the Clubs programs.
“We’re pleased to announce Kangan Institute’s further commitment to both our football programs,” Kelly said.
“Kangan has played a significant role investing in our women’s football program over the past two years and we look forward to building on this partnership across our men’s program.
“Kangan is a leader in educational services and as part of their partnership with our Club they have committed to offering educational sessions to our First Nations leaders and coaches, as well as supporting all our players upskill through various courses.
“I’d like to personally thank Sally Curtain who played a key role in strengthening the relationship between our Club and Kangan over the past two years. On behalf of the whole Club, we wish Sally all the best with her new role.”
Kangan Institute CEO Sally Curtain said she was excited to continue the collaboration with the Club.
“Kangan Institute and Collingwood share a commitment to building futures – on the field and beyond,” Curtain said.
“We’re excited to continue and expand this partnership in 2025. Together, we’re creating pathways, supporting inclusion and helping people succeed.”
