2025 NRL Signings Tracker: Dragons’ Fale safe policy; Sullivan extends

The Dragons have signed outside back David Fale from the Panthers on a two-year deal for 2026-27.

Fale has developed into a key member of Penrith’s NSW Cup outfit over the past three years finishing the 2025 season with 14 tries and 10 try assists in 21 matches. He made his NRL debut in Round 26 against the Bulldogs.

David is big and athletic and has a lot of talent. He’s spent time in the centres and on the wing, so he adds some valuable depth for us in the backline,” said Dragons coach Shane Flanagan.

Manly forward Josh Aloiai has announced his retirement after failing to recover from an ongoing shoulder injury.

The 29-year-old had two years left to run on his contract but will now begin a medical retirement.

“I loved my time at Manly and I’m very proud to have finished my NRL career at such a wonderful club,” Aloiai said.

The Broncos have snared talented forward Aublix Tawha from cross-town rivals the Dolphins as they look to bolster their pack for 2026.

The 26-year-old has risen from Dutch rugby union to the NRL in the past few years and featured in nine games in 2025 after making his debut in Round 16.

Tawha has signed a two-year deal with the Broncos and is locked in through to the end of the 2027 campaign.

“Madge [Maguire] invited me to his house and talked to me about what he wants to do with me, it all just made sense to jump on board,” he said.

“I’m really excited, I’ve been back to see my family in New Zealand and I’m ready to come back to Australia and have a crack.

“I just want to come in and do my best, help out where I can and improve my game by being around some high calibre players.”

The club have also announced the contract extension of back rower Jack Gosiewski which will see him remain at the Broncos through the 2026 season.

Despite suffering another fractured arm and broken collarbone this season, Gosiewski still made 14 appearances – scoring four tries, producing two lines breaks and one line break assist, while averaging 55 running metres per game.

The Rabbitohs have announced the contract extension of half Jayden Sullivan for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

Sullivan, 24, joined the Rabbitohs in 2025 on a one-year deal, however his performances throughout the season have earned him a two-year contract extension, following a release from the remainder of his contract with the Wests Tigers.

Titans flyer Alofiana Khan-Pereira is on his way across the Tasman in 2026 after being granted a release from the final year of his contract to join the Warriors.

The 23-year-old, who has scored 53 tries in just 54 matches, will join the Warriors on a three-year deal.

“Speed is one the greatest commodities in rugby league and Lofi has no shortage of that,” said Warriors coach Andrew Webster.

“We saw first-hand how damaging he is as a finisher when the Titans beat us in Robina last year. We love what he’ll bring to our club with both his ability and his character.”

The Titans have promoted young half Zane Harrison to their Top 30 squad for the next two years after an impressive first full-time NRL season.

The talented playmaker is a product of the club’s development pathways as a Northern Rivers junior and has been a Titan since age 15, already boasting an astute rugby league resume that includes helping Palm Beach Currumbin State High School to Queensland and National Schoolboy Cup success in 2024.

In 2025 he represented NSW in the Under 19 Origin and made his Hostplus Cup debut with 11 appearances for Tweed Seagulls.

Also at the Titans, playmaker Carter Gordon has been granted an early release from the final year of his contract following a comprehensive financial settlement with Rugby Australia.

The former Wallabies flyhalf made his NRL debut in Round 27 against Wests Tigers but has since signalled his desire to return to rugby union.

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Titans and am thankful for the opportunity the club has given me to experience a taste of the NRL,” said Gordon.

Meanwhile, Wests Tigers have taken a big step towards bolstering their pack for 2026 by signing former Warrior Bunty Afoa

The prop has committed to a one-year deal with the club and will provide crucial experience and physicality up front as the Tigers look to break into the top eight next season.

“I’m excited about the chance to come into a new environment and take the opportunity the Tigers have given me,” Afoa said.

“In seeing what’s been happening at the club and speaking with Benji, it’s an exciting time to be involved and I’m looking forward to playing my part next season.

“It’ll be great to get around the group and get to know the boys for pre-season. I can’t wait to get started.”

The Dragons have announced the departure of outside back Cody Ramsey, with the 25-year-old expected to sign a deal with the Roosters.

“We would like to sincerely thank Cody for his many contributions to the club throughout his time here,” CEO Tim Watsford said.

“His journey inspired us all. He is held in very high esteem here and we were proud to stand by him as he battled to return from his illness. He is a very impressive young man, and although the club worked through many options for Cody to remain in the Red V, it ultimately wasn’t to be, and we wish him and his family every success going forward.”

Tongan international Siliva Havili has become the second big name star to move from the NRL to join the London Broncos since former Kangaroos captain Darren Lockyer took over the club.

Havili, who will play for Tonga in the upcoming Pacific Championships against New Zealand and Samoa, will join former Kangaroos prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard in London next season.

Further NRL stars have agreed to deals with Lockyer’s Broncos if the club’s proposed return to Super League is confirmed next season.

Papua New Guinea coach Jason Demetriou will take charge of the Broncos regardless of which division they are in and will have the services of Havili and Campbell-Gillard at his disposal.

The Broncos’ pursuit of Havili and Campbell-Gillard reflects a strategic approach to squad building: blending internationally-proven performers with returning members of the current squad to maintain cultural continuity.

Havili’s signing represents another step forward in the club’s wider plan to present London with a rugby league team of genuine calibre and ambition.

The club have also re-signed second rower Jaiyden Hunt on a one-year extension through to the end of the 2026 season.

The 27-year-old returned home to Brisbane in 2024, after a stint with the Dragons where he made 14 NRL appearances.

Since then, the backrower has played 17-games for the club.

Meanwhile, veteran prop Josh Papalii has officially re-signed with the Raiders for the 2026 season.

It caps off a huge year for Papalii who became the club’s most-capped player when he played his 319th NRL match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs in June. He also received a recall to the Queensland Origin team for the decider, where he helped the Maroons to a series win.

“Canberra has been a massive part of my life for the last 16-17 years, and to extend for one more year is such an honour,” Papalii said. “I just want to keep performing and show people why I’m staying on for another year.”

Wests Tigers have announced the re-signing of centre Taylan May on a new two-year deal.

May, who joined the club in June on a train-and-trial deal, will now remain a Tiger until the end of the 2027 NRL season.

The Samoan international appeared in the final seven fixtures of the Wests Tigers 2025 campaign, for a return of four tries, three try assists and six line breaks.

Excited about the opportunity to further his career alongside his brother Terrell, Taylan was happy to extend his stay with the club.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity the Tigers have provided me and the belief and faith that Benji and the coaching staff have shown in me,” May said.

“I’ve been able to live out a dream to play in the NRL alongside my brother, it’s something that we’ll both remember for the rest of our lives. I’m excited for that to continue and remain part of this group.”

Elsewhere, Englishman Lewis Dodd has been released from the final two years of his contract by the Rabbitohs to join Catalans.
