Liverpool Exploring Semenyo Deal, Considering Doak as Part of Transfer Package

Liverpool are exploring the possibility of signing Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo, with reports suggesting the club may use highly-rated youngster Ben Doak as part of a potential deal.

According to the Northern Echo, Liverpool are considering including Doak in negotiations with Bournemouth, who have shown significant interest in the talented Scottish winger. Doak has been a revelation on loan at Middlesbrough this season, showcasing his exceptional talent and exciting potential. However, Bournemouth’s interest in the 19-year-old has cast doubt over his long-term future at Anfield.

Semenyo, a versatile forward capable of playing across the front line and as a wing-back, has been a key player for Bournemouth in recent seasons. His pace, dribbling ability, and tireless work ethic make him an ideal fit for manager Arne Slot’s high-intensity system.

The 25-year-old signed a new five-year contract with Bournemouth last year, securing his future with the club until 2029. This gives the Cherries significant leverage in any potential transfer negotiations.

Liverpool, however, believe that offering Doak as part of the deal could significantly increase their chances of securing Semenyo’s signature. The young Scotsman is highly regarded at Anfield and represents a valuable asset for the future.

With the future of Mohamed Salah uncertain, Liverpool are actively seeking to strengthen their attacking options. Semenyo, with his pace, power, and direct running style, could prove to be a valuable addition to the Reds’ squad.

The coming weeks will be crucial in determining whether Liverpool can successfully negotiate a deal for Semenyo and whether Doak will be included in the transfer.
