Leeds want ‘unbelievable’ player that Pablo Hernandez said is capable of scoring ‘beautiful’ goals

Leeds United are reportedly considering a move to sign Nottingham Forest midfielder Jonjo Shelvey with the England man said to have had a bust-up with Steve Cooper – and Pablo Hernandez is a fan. Shelvey, 31, only joined Forest in January. He has since played eight times for the Premier League side, and the six-time England man has been missing from the matchday squad for Forest’s two matches.

He has a contract at the City Ground until the summer of 2025. But, TeamTalk say Forest are open to his exit – after he and boss Cooper had fallen out. He has certainly, fallen down the Forest pecking order.

The report claims that Leeds are interested in signing Shelvey – with Forest ready to sell. It is unclear who much Forest will want for him, and it might even be that Leeds make a loan move for the midfielder.Back in 2014, Shelvey was a young but talented Premier League midfielder – turning out for Swansea alongside none other than Leeds icon Hernandez. The Spaniard was impressed, after a win over Villa.
