Blackburn Rovers are pleased to share the results of a supporters survey we ran earlier this year regarding kits for both the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
As a football club, one of our key strategic aims and priorities is to have an open dialogue and clear communication with our supporters surrounding key subjects, as we look to move forward.
We’d like to thank the 1,100 supporters who took part in the survey regarding the 2024-25 and 2025-26 kits, and we have listened carefully to the feedback we have received.
The results of the survey are as follows…
- Buttoned collars are favoured, with round-neck collars coming a close second.
- Supporters would like to see the Lancashire Rose, Premier League trophy and Wainwright Bridge depicted in the patterns used.
- The distinct line between blue and white should not be distorted.
- Red and black were the most popular choice for the away kit colour combination
- Yellow is the most popular choice for the third kit.
- The 1994-95 kit was the most popular for a redesign.
- Quarters should be prioritised.
Blackburn Rovers Head of Marketing, Fraser Read, said: “We are putting a significant effort into building upon our communication with supporters, and by doing surveys similar to this, it provides us with an opportunity to receive feedback on key topics.
“Kit designs are always a topic of discussion high on the agenda, and all of the kits this season have proven to be extremely popular with supporters across all different ages.
“We want to ensure all of our kits appeal to our supporters and appeal to all ages. The fact we have feedback gives us a platform to build upon to ensure we can provide a product that gets supporters excited and proud to wear their club kit.”
