West Ham has sell star man I 4n January, news today proves it’s mtore than possibl

West Ham may be forced to sell Jarrod Bowen in January as news breaks on Thursday

Jarrod Bowen has made a flying start to the season with West ham and his form has been acknowledged by the Premier League.

The tricky forward is one of six nominees for the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for August, alongside Taiwo Awoniyi, James Maddison, Bryan Mbuemo, Kaoru Mitoma, and Rodri.

Bowen had a joint-high three goal involvements for the Hammers in August, while in total he has three goals and one assist to his name through four matches in the infant Premier League table.

Hammers fans will be absolutely delighted with the form of their prized asset, particularly as it has propelled them to fourth in the standings, just two points behind Manchester City.

There will be a note of trepidation too, though. The summer really showed how the sharks are circling West Ham for their best talent.

Captain Declan Rice was, of course, sold to Arsenal and Lucas Paqueta was reported to be on his way to Manchester City, only for an FA probe in betting preaches to curtail that move – allegations the Brazilian has vehemently denied.

Bowen, too, saw his name crop up in the gossip pages. Liverpool ace Mohamed Salah was the subject of a reported £150million bid from Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ittihad (talkSPORT) and there were some rumblings he could be on the Reds’ list of potential successors to their Egyptian king.

Bowen is under contract at the London Stadium until June 2025 (transfermarkt), and there will be a few nerves growing in the Hammers boardroom if he does not commit to fresh terms before the new year.

It would leave him entering the final 18 months of his contract, and if his form continues to attract award nominations, it might also make some of the big boys fancy prizing him away from East London.

West Ham should act quick or face the prospect of a January sale.
