Ange Postecoglou, the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, will have his most difficult challenge yet when the Lilywhites go to the Emirates for a North London derby against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
Spurs maintained their perfect start to the season last weekend, coming from behind to defeat Sheffield United 2-1 due to late goals from Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski.
Tottenham have had their best start to a season since the 1965-66 season, with 13 points from five games, and are second in the table, just behind a flawless Manchester City.
Tottenham’s latest injury and suspension news is compiled here by Sports Mole ahead of their clash with their archrivals, who defeated PSV Eindhoven 4-0 in their Champions League opening on Wednesday.
Tottenham announced on Wednesday afternoon that experienced midfielder Ivan Perisic has suffered a “complex” anterior cruciate ligament injury, and the Croatian might miss the remainder of the season as he prepares for surgery.
Rodrigo Bentancur
One player who may offer Perisic tips in his recovery is Rodrigo Bentancur, who is on the long road back from his own ACL injury and is slowly being re-integrated into team training, but he will not make his return for another few weeks yet.
Ryan Sessegnon

Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: October 23 (vs. Fulham)
Similarly, Ryan Sessegnon underwent an operation on a hamstring problem earlier in the season and is also thought to be aiming for a comeback at some point in October.

Bryan Gil was not able to make an early impression under Postecoglou owing to a groin problem, and the Spanish attacker will also spend another few weeks on the treatment table at the least.

Giovani Lo Celso picked up a thigh issue against Fulham in the EFL Cup last month, but while he was not available to face the Blades, he ought to come back into contention for the derby.
