Daniel Farke has “many compliments” for Leeds United star that showed great maturity at Hull City

Leeds United boss Daniel Farke lauded winger Crysencio Summerville after he came off the bench and starred in the 0-0 draw with Hull City.

How did Crysencio Summerville play?

Starting on the bench after a hectic game at Millwall on Sunday, Crysencio Summerville was called into action earlier that expected when Willy Gnonto was forced off through injury.

The Dutchman was raring to go, though, as he created chance after chance in the first half for himself and his teammates.

He forced Ryan Allsop into a handful of very smart saves as well as playing through Georginio Rutter 1v1, only for the striker to falter as he shot, unable to convert.

Summerville provided a constant threat throughout the match, even when Leeds went a man down, as his ball carrying brought three yellow cards for Hull players through professional fouls.

Farke lavishes admiration on the child
His work ethic has earned him high praise from manager Farke after coming in off the bench, considering that his talent would see him start at every team in the division, as well as a few top-flight teams.

Farke said this (via Leeds Live) regarding his response to being on the bench:

“Yes, 100%.

“Because this is precisely what we need to consider the side.

“Don’t be upset if you’re not always in the starting lineup; it’s more important that when you’re on the field, you give everything for this group.”

“We also got the feeling Cree it was a really good performance at Millwall but he had a difficult pre-season also came just out of injury then he had a knock against a shoulder so a few problems so we got the feeling so it makes sense, three games within six days, I also need his creativity in the next home game to start him from the bench and to bring him in when the game is a bit more settled.

“I had to bring him in earlier than I actually wanted but also his reaction, not just in possession because it is an outstanding creative player, we know this, but also how hard he worked for the team.

“This is exactly what we need and many compliments to him.”

Summerville was an absolute class above last night and he needs to be playing in every game where he’s at 100%.

What we also saw from him is that he’s clearly better playing in more of a wide position rather than the out-and-out number 10 of the side.

His link-up with Joel Piroe and Rutter was outstanding and he’s going to frighten the life out of any team in this league.

He was unlucky not to score, finding Allsop in strong form for the Tigers, but the goals and assists will flow soon for the winger.
