Both the Ghanaian forward and the Greek defender make their LNER Stadium debuts six days after making their full debuts in the UEFA Europa League Group A triumph over FK TSC.

Kudus scored twice against the Serbians, while Mavropanos impressed in his maiden game for the Claret and Blue.

Eight of the players who began against TSC are still in David Moyes’ starting lineup this evening.

ukasz Fabiaski makes his debut for the Irons, and his first for any club since starting Arsenal’s fourth-round defeat by Chelsea in October 2013.

Thilo Kehrer makes his Carabao Cup debut after missing last season’s third-round defeat to Blackburn Rovers.

Angelo Ogbonna, who captains the team while Kurt Zouma is rested, and Ben Johnson, who starts as left-back, round out the back four.

Tomá Souek will anchor the midfield, with Pablo Fornals playing opposite him.

Kudus could start on the right wing, as he did against TSC, with Sad Benrahma occupying the No10 spot and birthday boy Maxwel Cornet on the left wing.

Danny Ings, who has nine goals in 15 games for Burnley, Liverpool, Southampton, and Aston Villa in this tournament, will lead the Hammers’ attack in Lincolnshire.

Starting XI v Lincoln City

Academy prospects Kaelan Casey, Dan Chesters, Divin Mubama, and Callum Marshall are all named to the substitutes’ bench.

Marshall has been a revelation for the Academy since coming from Linfield in January 2022, scoring 39 goals in 57 outings for the U21s and U18s and winning both the FA Youth Cup and the U18 Premier League South title last season.

Mubama, who was also a double winner last season, has already made six first-team appearances and scored in March’s UEFA Europa Conference League round of 16 second-leg triumph over AEK Larnaca.
