‘Unbelievable’ Arsenal legend Eddie Nketiah shaped my career, says in-form Leeds player

In an exchange with Luis Sinisterra, Anthony, 23, moved to Leeds on loan from Bournemouth on the final day of the season. Since then, he has served as a substitute in three of our last four games, scoring once, on Saturday’s victory over Watford.

Anthony, a standout for Leeds, claims that Nketiah was important to his success.
Nketiah truly struggled at Leeds, and just as Marcelo Bielsa was going to give him his chance, he was hurt. Sadly, Nketiah is a player with a lot of talent and potential, which is unfortunate.

He might have ended up joining for Leeds long-term had he stayed for the 19–20 campaign and then helped us get promoted. He returned to Arsenal instead, and Leeds added Jean-Kevin Augustin.
