Injury Expert issues Stuart Dallas update ahead of Leeds United v Plymouth Argyle

We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Leeds United...

Leeds United midfielder Stuart Dallas will not be ready for the game against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, 11 November, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.

The injury expert claims that his training routine will be ramped up in order to get him ready to play for the first team.

However, for him to make his senior return this quickly after returning to training is not possible and he will miss a few games, at the very least.

Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Dallas:

At this point, Dallas’ training and rehab won’t be any different compared to the rest because they’ve already been extremely methodical and conservative with his timeline.

Now is the time when they will start to ramp him up to meet the demands of team training.

Given his lengthy setback, he’s still expected to sit a few games out.

Dallas has not played professional football since February 2022 after he broke his femur against Manchester City in the Premier League.

There even were reports of him retiring from the game, but he brushed those aside quickly and within weeks he returned to training.

Fans undoubtedly will be excited when he makes his first-team return as he’s spent such a long time out and he’s surely going to get an emotional welcome at Elland Road.
