“I don’t know if we’ve really had one.” – Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff looking for the complete performance’

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is expecting a deep run, especially seeing as they are yet to hit top form.

The Lions have reached the halfway stage of the season at 6-2 and, fresh off a bye and will fancy their chances against the 4-4 Chargers.

“I think there’s a lot of meat on the bone, both for offense and defense,” Goff told the team website.

“I’m sure they’d say the same thing that where we feel like maybe the Carolina game was a complete game, but other than that, I don’t know if we’ve really had one.

The game Goff is referring to is the 42-24 win over the Panthers in week 5, where the QB threw 20-28 and for 236 yards.

Running back David Montgomery ran for 107 yards that game but is an injury concern ahead of week 10.

Receiver Josh Reynolds also had a good outing against Carolina receiving for 76 yards from 4 receptions.

“(There is) no reason to not start this week and try to put together a complete game this week as well.”

If the Lions improve their offense this week, they are well set in the NFC North, a division they are leading from the second placed Vikings.
