BREAKING: Cincinnati Bengals Star Receiver Out For Game Against Houston Texans

Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins is expected to be out for this week’s matchup against the Houston Texans. Higgins has been dealing with a hamstring injury and will be evaluated week-to-week according to the team. The receiver injured his hamstring in practice yesterday and was not able to participate in practice today.

The young receiver was seen moving gingerly in the locker room after yesterday’s practice, causing concern for the team. Higgins is coming off his best game all season against the Buffalo Bills, where he was able to amount to 110 receiving yards on eight catches in the Bengals’ 24-18 win.Cincinnati Bengals Star Receiver Out For Game Against Houston Texans | Yardbarker

Higgins is not the only receiver who has been dealing with an injury either. Earlier this week, star receiver Ja’Marr Chase said that he has been dealing with a back injury that has made him a limited participant in practice this week. The good news for Chase is that he was able to suit up today, but he continues to be questionable as far as his status for this week’s matchup.

So far this season, Higgins has gone for 328 receiving yards and just two touchdowns. Cincinnati has had some unusual struggles from their offense this season, however, it seems like they are starting to figure out a rhythm as they have won their last four games. As for Higgins, he is coming off his best game this year, so this injury will certainly hurt his momentum going forward.

The Bengals are currently sitting at a 5-3 record and are in a three-way tie in the highly competitive AFC North. They will face off against a surprisingly good Texans team this week, and if both of their star receivers are not available this week, the result can go against their favor.
