Silver Minings: Tim Brown repping the Fighting Irish

Tim Brown repping the Fighting Irish

Raiders legendary wide receiver Tim Brown is at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on Thursday as the museum reveals a new exhibit that celebrates its members from the iconic school, Notre Dame

The Hall of Fame is being the exhibit, ‘Gold Helmet To Gold Jacket.’ It celebrates the 14 players from the Fighting Irish that are immortalized at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Brown, who the Heisman Trophy-winning wide receiver who the Raiders took with the No. 6 overall pick in 1988, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.

He joins fellow Notre Dame Hall of Famer Bryant Young in Canton for the start of the display. Fellow Notre Dame Hall of Famer Alan Page will appear virtually.

I know Brown is proud of his Notre Dame, Raiders and Hall of Fame roots, so this is a special day for a great member of the Raider family.
