
Track Central: Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee’s outdoor track & field season continues this weekend as a squadron of Vol and Lady Vol field athletes travels to Louisville, Kentucky, for the Jim Freeman/Clark Wood Invitational. The meet is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, April 25-26, at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park.
The Big Orange will be represented in the throws, jumps and pole vault at Louisville. Action begins Friday at 11:00 a.m. with the men’s shot put, and the meet will conclude Saturday at 5 p.m. with the men’s discus.

RANKINGS UPDATE: In the most recent installment of the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) national rating index, the Vols were tabbed the No. 3 men’s squad in the country while the Lady Vols check in at 23rd nationally.
