When Jennifer Aniston joined Instagram this week, she broke the record for the fastest Instagram account to gain one million followers in a seamless five hours and sixteen minutes. In doing so, the Instagram newcomer snatched the title from royals Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who previously held the crown with the debut of their @sussexroyal account.
Despite having just recently joined Instagram, Aniston has already shown herself to be a pro at the social media site. She started off by sharing a selfie with the Friends cast, followed by a hilarious video, and most recently, a cute throwback picture. This might be partly due to the fact that she had a hidden, fictitious Instagram account, or “Finsta,” which she called her “stalker account” when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! She also mentioned that she was now prepared to formally join the Instagram generation.
“I thought it was time to learn about the world and take a small dip into the social media world when I was considering doing this,” the woman remarked.
