Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus revealed that Arsenal was one of the clubs interested in signing him after he decided to join West Ham last summer.

23-year-old defender Kudus confirmed interest from Arsenal, Chelsea, and Brighton & Hove Albion before signing for West Ham in a £37 million deal. He made the decision based on gut feelings and speaking to club members about their project.

Arsenal’s interest in signing Kudus is unclear, but West Ham’s transfer team, led by Tim Steidten, may have missed a missed opportunity. Kudus’ arrival helped West Ham soften the blow of losing Declan Rice, who joined for £100+ million. The investment in Kudus has paid off, with him making a positive impact at the London Stadium.
