The Pittsburgh Steelers may wait until next year to make a significant wideout signing, potentially signing Tee Higgins to a 4-year $99.7 million contract during 2025 free agency. Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport predicts Higgins’s potential, citing low return on veteran receivers in offseason trades.

Higgins, a career-high 15.6 yards per catch, has a career-high 257 passes for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns in four NFL seasons, with an average of 95.8 receiving yards per game and nearly 18 yards per catch in six contests against the Steelers.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase is set to join the Bengals on a 4-year, $133.5 million contract, with the franchise tag worth $21.816 million for the 2024 season. Higgins’ contract is unlikely to be locked into a long-term deal, as the Bengals have already signed Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase.
