Lionel Messi scores Golazo as Inter Miami beat Sporting KC

Inter Miami defeated Sporting KC 3-2 at Arrowhead Stadium thanks to goals from Lionel Messi early in the second half and one assist in the first.

With an estimated attendance of 72,610, Messi emerged as the biggest star in Kansas City instead of Mahomes, making it the third-highest-attended MLS game in history and the most-attended soccer event in the state of Missouri.

Playing the full ninety minutes, Messi received his first start in an MLS match since March 2.
