Manchester City and Newcastle are reportedly battling for the same Wolves player this summer as they try to reinforce their front lines for next season.

The Molineux club is seeking for £60 million, a club record selling transfer fee, to part ways with one of its main men, surpassing the departures of Matheus Nunes to Manchester City for £53 million and Ruben Neves to Al-Hilal for £47 million in 2022.

Wolves are looking to sell key players, and coach Gary O’Neil has warned that they may be obliged to sell before signing someone.

The team is also considering bringing back their current loaned-out players.

Goncalo Guedes, Daniel Podence, or Fabio Silva, allowing them to separate ways.
