As the 2024 National Hot Rod Association Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season enters its second half with the NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways in Seattle, Washington (July 19-21) and a two-race “Western Swing” (the tour travels to California’s wine country for the DENSO NHRA Sonoma Nationals, July 26-28 at Sonoma Raceway), racers, fans, and anyone else involved in the sport can begin making plans for next year.

On Wednesday, July 10, the sanctioning body announced its full 2025 program, which begins in March with the Gatornationals in Gainesville, Florida, and ends eight months later at the 60th annual In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals in Pomona, California (November 13-16). In addition to “Pomona II’s” six decades, eight more events will celebrate milestone anniversaries during the 2025 season.

15 Years: NHRA 4-Wide Nationals, Charlotte
25 years: 4-Wide Nationals in Las Vegas, Gerber Collision & Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals in Chicago, and Nevada Nationals in Las Vegas.
40 years: Arizona Nationals/Phoenix, Texas Fallnationals/Dallas, NHRA Nationals/Reading (the countdown to the championship begins).
65 years: Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals/Pomona (the countdown to the championship ends)

“Thus far, it has been a terrific 2024 season, and we’re thrilled to continue to build off that momentum and excitement and reveal our dates for 2025,” Glen Cromwell, the NHRA president, adds. “We visit so many beautiful facilities, and we are grateful for the amazing fan support we receive at these tracks across the country. Putting together our national event schedule requires a lot of collaboration, and we want to thank all of the race teams, track partners, and sponsors that help make it happen. We’ve had a number of memorable events this year, and we hope to continue that into the 2025 season.”

HOT ROD was blessed to be personally involved in a 2024 NHRA national event, with an exhibition eliminator starring HOT ROD Drag Week competitors at the NHRA New England Nationals, as well as having our colors flown on 330-mph nitro Top Fuel dragsters. We intend to expand these activities and create new joint activations with the NHRA by 2025.

All NHRA races for the 2025 season will be shown entirely on FOX Sports, with select events also airing on the FOX shown Network. For more information on the NHRA, please visit NHRA.com.
