Justin Timberlake’s ploy to get his case dismissed after being pulled over for drunk driving

The artist was arrested a month ago for driving under the influence of alcohol

Justin Timberlake made headlines a little less than a month ago and it wasn’t exactly for his music, his movie performances, or for a new love affair for the popular singing and movie star.

The artist was arrested because he was found driving under the influence of alcohol.

It all happened last June, when the singer had spent the night partying with friends at a hotel called Sag Harbor.

After the party, Timberlake left in a car driven by himself and, while he was following some friends, police officers say they saw him run a stop sign, so they decided to intervene, chase the vehicle and pull him over.

In the officers’ statement they indicated that, in addition to jumping the aforementioned sign, once he was identified, Justin failed the sobriety tests, in addition to smelling of alcohol.

The artist, as the cops also indicated, refused to blow through the breathalyzer after having claimed that what he had drunk was only a Martini.

Apparently, there was a car following the artist with a woman and her husband who offered to take him home, after they asked if they were going to arrest him.

However, and despite the aforementioned offers, that did not work and the singer ended up being arrested.

Another woman who had been drinking was allowed to drive Timberlake’s car

The interesting thing about the matter, and the reason why Timberlake could get out of this problem with justice, is that according to what some sources have indicated to TMZ the mentioned woman asked the police officer if she could take the car, which was rented by Justin, to his house.

The police gave her permission and she drove the singer’s car. Apparently, the woman had also been drinking and it was obvious, but the cops let her drive and leave.

That circumstance, that of the woman who had been drinking and was able to drive off with Timberlake’s car, is the argument being used by Justin’s attorney, Edward Burke Jr. If they couldn’t properly evaluate her, how could they properly evaluate him?

That’s the argument Burke will use before the judge as part of his motion to have the case resolved.
