Former Aston Villa defender Ciaran Clark has been linked with a new club after being released by Newcastle United this summer.
The 33-year-old left the Magpies after an injury-hit loan spell at Sheffield United last season saw the centre-back make just 11 appearances.
Clark rose through Villa’s youth academy before making 159 first-team appearances for the Villans across a seven-year spell.
