Legendary rock band AC/DC has just announced their much-anticipated return to the music scene with a brand-new album titled “Power Surge”, set for release in early 2025. This will be the band’s first studio album in five years, following 2020’s “Power Up”, which marked a triumphant return for the group after several years of uncertainty.

The announcement was made through the band’s social media channels, where they also revealed plans for a massive world tour that will kick off in June 2025. The tour, dubbed the “High Voltage Tour”, will see the iconic rockers hitting major stadiums across North America, Europe, Australia, and South America.

In a statement, lead guitarist Angus Young said, “We’ve been working hard on this album, and it’s got all the energy, power, and electrifying sound that fans expect from AC/DC. We can’t wait to get back on the road and see all the fans.”

Fans can expect to hear the new material from “Power Surge”, as well as the classic hits like “Highway to Hell”, “Back in Black”, and “Thunderstruck” that have solidified AC/DC as one of the most iconic bands in rock history.

Ticket pre-sales for the “High Voltage Tour” will begin later this year, with general sales expected to follow shortly after.
