Cleveland’s memorable comeback victory over the Chicago Bears had a ton of storylines woven into it. There was the dominant defensive performance, replacement players stepping up to make plays, Joe Flacco’s stunning fourth quarter and so much more.
The game felt like one that the Browns were most definitely going to lose through three quarters, but they managed to overcome some early offensive woes to comeback and beat the Bears.
The win caught the attention of many across the NFL Media landscape but especially Brian Baldinger, who featured Cleveland heavily on his weekly Baldy Breakdowns.
I’ve written about Baldy in the past but every week he takes highlights from each game around the NFL and shares cut-ups of some of his favorite plays and performances on social media.
The content is fantastic, and it is always a good sign when your team is heavily featured. This week, he once again had his sights on the Cleveland Browns.
He started with Myles Garrett’s rush in the low red zone where Justin Fields made a spectacular play to throw a touchdown to his tight end, Cole Kmet.
Next, he highlighted what Myles Garrett faces every game. In this clip, Garrett is triple-teamed by the Bears’ offensive line.
One of Baldy’s favorite players is linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and he gave No. 6 some shine in this clip as Baldy’s calls him “Woa-Koramoah”
Baldinger also got to the offensive side of the ball for the Browns. The first play he breaks down is David Njoku’s other-worldly touchdown catch.
One of the final packages he highlighted featured Joe Flacco, exploring just what he was seeing all game long and how the Browns were fortunate that the Bears changed their defense late in the game. Flacco’s throw here was spectacular, too.
It’s always a great Victory Monday when the Browns get some national appreciation from Brian Baldinger.
