Braves News: Ronald Acuna MRI, Hurston Waldrep debut, more

The Braves’ all-world outfielder is experiencing knee pain, but it does not appear to be affecting his regular season performance. He received an MRI and appears to have some meniscus irritation, but he is anticipated to be ready for Opening Day, barring any surprise findings from his doctor. Meanwhile, Hurston Waldrep made his spring debut and demonstrated both his promise and his major fault. Waldrep unleashed some pitches that made batters look dumb and certainly had some nasty stuff, but he struggled with command and walked a batter in both of his innings. With those secondary pitches, he has the potential to become a major league pitcher if he can control his command.
