Bengals 2024 Combine Watch List: Offensive Line

This may surprise you, but the Bengals could be in the market for some new offensive lineman this season. The NFL Combine takes place this Sunday in Indianapolis, and the offensive linemen will hit the field. Who should Bengals fans keep their eye on?

Zac Taylor’s first draft pick was offensive tackle Jonah Williams, who is expected to leave the Bengals in free agency this year following a successful run.
That same year, the Bengals drafted guard Michael Jordan in the fourth round. A year later, Hakeem Adeniji faced off in the sixth round. Both got time in the starting lineup but did not stick around for long.

In 2021, they selected three offensive linemen: heavily discussed second-round pick Jackson Carman, fourth-round pick D’Ante Smith, and sixth-round pick Trey Hill. Although the team worked hard to make Jackson Carman a reality, none of the above had a significant beneficial impact on the team.
Cordell Volson of North Dakota State was drafted in the fourth round in 2022 and has been a starter since then.

Say what you want about Jonah Williams; he is the best right tackle the Bengals have had in a long time, but he is most certainly gone. There are three solid alternatives who could be available with pick 18, and all three played right tackle in college.

Tailese Fuaga is a people mover, a glass eater, and just about any other adorable word you can think of for a huge terrible human being who makes his profession playing offensive line. The former Oregon State Beaver stands 6’6″ and weighs approximately 330 pounds. He is a dominant run blocker with exceptional footwork for his stature, although he may struggle against speed rushers on the edge.
