Top AFC team may trade $96 million star wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk in a blockbuster deal for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Pittsburgh Steelers may trade wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk for $96 million this offseason, despite contract impasses between San Francisco 49ers and Aiyuk. Bleacher Report suggests the 49ers could send Aiyuk and a fourth-round to Steelers.

The Steelers are reportedly linked to the team, with Wilson and Fields signing and trading, and a quarterback competition between them.

The Steelers are considering Aiyuk as a potential receiver after trading Diontae Johnson to the Panthers. Aiyuk is a proven weapon and could complement George Pickens’ 2023 performance. However, his contract may be extended.

Aiyuk seeks fair compensation after a successful 2023 season with Deebo Samuel, with options for a $14.12 million fifth-year option or a $96 million four-year deal on a new team.

The wide receiver market is buzzing after the Bills traded Stefon Diggs to the Texans, leading to increased offers. However, the trade likely doesn’t affect other teams’ market value. Aiyuk, a top performer, is looking for a new contract, and the 49ers may trade Samuel if he holds out or returns on a better deal.

Aiyuk’s future is uncertain as the team could use the franchise to extend his contract for two more years, pending a new deal.

The Bills, Commanders, and Los Angeles Chargers are potential trade destinations for the 49ers, who are in need of a receiver after losing Gabe Davis. The Commanders could offer a wideout and draft pick, while the Chargers could increase their offer with draft capital. Brandon Aiyuk
