Meet the other Hawkeyes, the Iowa players who will help Caitlin Clark try to win a national championship
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Something strange happened in Iowa’s 71-69 win over UConn on Friday night: someone other than Caitlin Clark led the Hawkeyes in scoring.
Sophomore forward Hannah Stuelke scored 23 points and shot 9 of 12 from the field. It was the second time all season Clark didn’t lead the team in points. (The other time was also Stuelke, who scored 47 against Penn State.)

Iowa women’s basketball celebration to be held on Wednesday
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) – The University of Iowa Athletics Department is hosting an end-of-season celebration for the Iowa Hawkeyes Women’s Basketball team who after a success-filled season came in second in the NCAA tournament. The celebration will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 at Carver Hawkeye Arena.
Head coach Lisa Bluder, National Player of the Year Caitlin Clark, and seniors Molly Davis, Sharon Goodman, Kate Martin, and Gabbie Marshall will all speak. Fans will also be able to see the team’s trophies. Parking in the lots surrounding the arena will be available starting at 4:30 p.m.
The Hawkeyes won their third straight Big Ten Tournament title this year and finished with a school record of 34 victories. That’s tied for the most single-season wins in Big Ten Conference History.
The Hawkeyes also advanced to the Championship game for the second straight year where they finished second to the South Carolina Gamecocks 87 to 75.
