David Moyes, the manager of West Ham, has confirmed that England forward Jarrod Bowen will miss the Europa League trip to Bayer Leverkusen due to a knee injury sustained during West Ham’s win against Wolves. Moyes cannot provide a return date.
Jarrod, a key player for the Scots, has been injured and unavailable for tomorrow’s match. The injury is believed to be twisted and damaged, possibly due to rotation issues. He will be missed.
‘But, these things happen in football, and we have players ready to come in to try and get the job done for us.’
Alphonse Areola is out with a groin problem, while Kalvin Phillips has a hamstring injury. Areola is unavailable for training, while Phillips recently injured his lower hamstring.
