North Melbourne’s 2024 Good Friday SuperClash against Carlton raised $312,088 for the Good Friday Appeal, surpassing last year’s final donation of $232,353. Ticket sales contributed $103,000. Sponsors McDonald’s, Mazda, RedZed, Puma, Tasmanian Heritage, and Kangaroos players contributed an additional $75,500.

Carlton contributed over $10k through a player-led online auction, with the remaining funds coming from fans’ donations, match-worn guernsey auctions, and SuperClash membership sales.

North Melbourne CEO Jennifer Watt expressed pride in the club’s Good Friday SuperClash, which partnered with Carlton to support the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. Watt thanked the sold-out crowd and everyone who supported the event since its launch in 2017.

Good Friday Appeal executive director Rebecca Cowan expressed gratitude to North Melbourne for their support and partnership since 2017. The Good Friday SuperClash was a special event, featuring North Melbourne and Carlton players spending time with patients and their families, and a reverse guard of honour featuring hospital staff.

The raised funds will support The Royal Children’s Hospital’s research, technology, patient-centered care, and staff training, with the final figure determined after online auctions in North Melbourne and Carlton.
