Tom Brady, who announced last year he would not be retiring, has stated on a podcast that he is “not opposed” to returning to the NFL. He expressed uncertainty about whether a team in need would accept him as an owner, but he remains in good shape and capable of throwing the ball.

In a podcast episode, Vic Blends mentioned the San Francisco 49ers needing a quarterback in the playoffs, while Brady mentioned the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders. Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis agreed to Brady joining the organization’s ownership group, pending NFL approval. Brady’s bid began in May 2022 after attending a Las Vegas Aces game.

Brad Davis, impressed by the progress of women’s basketball and the excitement in Las Vegas, became a partner in the world champion Las Vegas Aces. In March 2023, he acquired an ownership stake in the Aces and is now reportedly aiming to buy 10% of the Raiders, valued at $6.2 billion by Forbes last year.

Davis is optimistic about Tom Brady’s pending acquisition, stating that he is excited for him to join the Raiders and become the third player in NFL history to become an owner. Brady retired after a 23-year career and signed a 10-year, $375 million deal with Fox.
