Buffalo Bills anticipate Curtis Samuel to alleviate the loss of Stefon Diggs in trade, but not everyone believes Samuel will improve Josh Allen’s passing attack in 2024.

Buffalo signed Samuel to a three-year $24 million deal, but one NFL analyst is skeptical about his significant impact.

Fowler suggests that GM Brandon Beane may have considered adding Samuel to pair with Khalil Shakir, two smaller pass-catchers for Josh Allen. However, a move for a wideout like Tee Higgins would have made sense for Buffalo. Samuel has caught 62 passes in Washington.

The Bills are aiming to restructure their receiving corps around Allen, with Curtis Samuel likely being just one part of the puzzle.

Samuel has yet to reach 1,000 receiving yards in a season and averages just over three touchdown receptions. However, Allen will be the most dominant quarterback Samuel has caught passes for. Samuel would be top receiver depth chart alongside Shakir and Hollins. Buffalo could trade up for top receiver prospects.Samuel has yet to reach 1,000 receiving yards in a season and averages just over three touchdown receptions.
