Ivorian footballer has issued a warning to his team-mates ahead of the FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City.

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo spent last season on loan at Sunderland in the Championship. It was a positive stint for the Ivory Coast international and he has sent a warning to his teammates about Sunday’s FA Cup semi-final opponents Coventry City.

Amad, a 21-year-old with 42 appearances under former Sunderland manager Tony Mowbray, has gained experience in the Championship, scoring 14 goals and assisting 4 times. His last-minute strike against Liverpool secured United’s semi-final spot. Amad believes Mark Robins’ side is strong, despite playing in a lower division.

The player is excited to play against Coventry, where he will meet his teammate Ellis Simms. They hope to win and advance to the final. The player’s last-minute goal against Liverpool gave them confidence and motivated them to train daily for every game. They also recall their last meeting against Coventry, where they lost 2-1.

Coventry is a young, exciting team with a strong attack, as seen last season with striker Viktor Gyokeres, who left for Sporting.
