Gianluca Scamacca admits to West Ham United fans that the relationship between him and manager David Moyes was not a match made in heaven.

Italian striker, signed for West Ham in 2022, was quickly sold to Atalanta for £13.5 million loss. Impressive in Serie A, he scored 14 goals and provided four assists.

Scamacca’s talent was evident during his one-season spell at London Stadium, but his attitude and playing style clashed with David Moyes’s

system.

Scamacca, a former West Ham player, was criticized by former teammate Michail Antonio last year for not playing the way the manager wanted. He was unhappy at the London Stadium and expressed a desire to return to Italy. Now, the player has opened up about his approach during his West Ham days, which is not good news.

Gianluca Scamacca has admitted to a significant change in his approach to games since joining Atalanta, stating that he was not as intense as he should have been during his time at West Ham. This non-committal approach may have led to his failure in the Premier League, as he was always destined for failure.
