Joe Burrow sends warning to back-to-back Super Bowl champion Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs

Joe Burrow has issued a warning to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, who have been back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

Joe Burrow believes the Cincinnati Bengals are “built to beat” Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, despite a challenging season with injuries and missed games. With most core players returning for 2024 and strategic free agency acquisitions, Burrow believes the Bengals match up well with the Chiefs and are built to beat them.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins has requested a trade after the team placed the franchise tag on him this offseason. The tag allows Higgins to stay under contract with the team for one more year without a formal contract extension or losing him to free agency bidding. The Bengals have plenty of picks to play with, including the No. 18 overall selection in the first round on April 25. Head coach Zach Taylor expressed his hope for Higgins this season and said he has done an outstanding job for them since being drafted in 2020. The Bengals should still look at wide receivers this draft, considering the possibility of Higgins not being around in 2025.

The Bengals and Bengals have both been praised for their high-caliber performances, with the Bengals strengthening their offensive line with Orlando Brown Jr. and Trent Brown, and the Bengals letting go of Joe Mixon to free up cap space, introducing Sheldon Rankins and introducing new safety duos.

The Bengals’ defense is bolstered by their own acquisitions and the losses of their division rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, and the Buffalo Bills, who appear weaker on paper for the upcoming season.
