Rookie Wenceel Perez botched a fly in right field that led to two unearned runs but bounced back to hit the go-ahead single in the ninth inning, leading the Detroit Tigers to a 5-4 victory over the Minnesota Twins on Friday night at Target Field in Minneapolis.
The Tigers are currently 6-3 in one-run games this year and will face the Twins twice more this weekend.
