Carlos Correa is unlikely to return from the injured list when eligible, according to Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic. The Twins are not rushing Correa back to avoid an intercostal strain. Royce Lewis is progressing but has no timeline. Brooks Lee’s back spasms are a herniated disc.

The Twins are optimistic about Lee’s return to play this season, despite his injury, as he is currently three weeks into a two-month rehab plan.

Minnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli emphasized the urgency of roster changes and finding new ways to use players after a 7-13 loss to the Tigers. Max Kepler could be activated from the IL for a four-game series against the White Sox, while Jhoan Duran will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A St. Paul.
