Miami Gardens, Florida – The Miami Dolphins have signed offensive tackle Ireland Brown and cornerback Jason Maitre.

Both attended Miami’s rookie minicamp last weekend on a tryout basis.

Brown played for Rutgers for four seasons (2020-23) and appeared in 33 games. After appearing in five games and earning three tackles on the defensive line as a sophomore in 2020, Brown transferred to the offensive line for the remainder of his collegiate career, where he played in 28 games with 17 starts – 11 at center and six at left guard. Brown transferred from Boston College, where he played nine games and had six tackles (four solo) as a freshman in 2019.

Maitre finished his collegiate career at Wisconsin, where he appeared in 12 games with nine starts and recorded 33 tackles (24 solo), one interception, and four passes defensed. Maitre transferred from Boston College, where he played 44 games and recorded 133 tackles (86 solo), 4.0 sacks, three interceptions, and 22 passes defensed over five years (2018-22).
