Barcelona is reportedly planning a surprise approach for former Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez.
It’s been five years since Perez departed the Magpies, where he scored 48 goals and assisted 17 in 195 games after signing from CD Tenerife in 2014.
He was a member of the Championship-winning club in 2016-17, and one of his final performances in a black and white shirt was a Premier League hat-trick against Southampton to prevent relegation in April 2019.
