Official visit seals the deal for three-star RB Eddie Love’s commitment to ECU

Eddie Love Jr. was not originally supposed to visit East Carolina the first week of June, but he’s glad it worked out this way.

Expecting to head up to West Virginia for a scheduled trip, Love instead decided on other plans after the Mountaineers took another running back ahead of him. A consistent recruiting approach from running backs coach Rodney Freeman II and offensive coordinator John David Baker led to Love scheduling a fairly last-minute trip to East Carolina. And by the end of his first visit to Greenville, he was hooked as a future Pirate.

Love announced his commitment to ECU on Monday. The three-star back is from Fort Walton Beach High School in Florida.
